Our most popular service.  We will come to your property, take samples from 5-8 locations (per property).  We will report on your soil Ph, Nitrogen (Nitrates, Nitrites, and Ammonia balance), Phosphorus, and Potassium.  Your report will include our findings mapped, and including custom reporting and recommendations to optimize plant growth.  Soil levels of these nutrients have the greatest impact on your plants growth potential, but they are not the only factors that matter.

The organic matter content of your soil (aka. Humus) has a dramatic affect on the overall health of your soil, and therefore the health your plants! Service typically added to Basic Soil Nutrient Reporting

Added Service Cost (added to basic testing) = $35

Standalone cost (per property) = $50 (for the first sample location), $35 (each added sample)

Herbicides can persist in your soil for days to years, and do not  have to come from you.  Herbicides can be brought in by runoff, wind, animals, etc.. Herbicides are poisonous to both plants and animals, they can stunt your garden and endanger the health of anyone consuming goods from your garden.

If you suspect the presence of Herbicides in your garden, you owe it to your plants and your health to verify.  The only way to know if Herbicides are present is to test.

Mycorrhizae, the symbiotic fungi that form partnerships with plant roots, play a pivotal role in soil health and plant vitality. By conducting Mycorrhizae testing, you unlock invaluable insights into the presence and activity of these beneficial organisms in your soil.

Mycorrhizae enhance nutrient uptake, improve soil structure, and boost plant resilience to environmental stresses. Mycorrhizae form colonies on or even inside of parts of your plant (typically in the form of root nodules), and your plants may not be able to survive, let alone thrive, without proper Mycorrhizae interactions.  Mycorrhizae facilitate nutrient uptake in thousands of species of plants, but they are often overlooked .   If you soil lacks proper Mycorrhizae activity and conditions, your plants may be incapable of surviving, or at the very least may be starving.  

We offer several test types (sent out to partner labs) which can enhance your understanding and approach to gardening.  

All testing performed as stand alone testing, but can be combined with Basic Soil Nutrient Reporting

Mycorrhizae Colonization Percentage Reporting = $80 (first test/property) / $70 (each added test)

Mycorrhizae Spore Count Reporting = $80 (first test/property) / $70 (each added test)

Rhizobium Nodule Count = $80 (first test/property) / $70 (each added test)

This is our more comprehensive test suite!  It involves testing of samples through multiple partner labs, and will provide you with the most comprehensive picture of everything your soil has, and everything your plants need.  We will test and report on everything listed in this section (see previous and following sections for full info)

Understand your soil to a level exceeding what most people are ready for, but if you truly want all the data on your soil, there is no substitute for this set of tests.  

Tests in included in "All Soil Properties" Testing: 

pH, Soil Nutrients (Nitrates, Nitrites, Ammonia, Phosphorus, Potassium, Magnesium, Boron, Zinc, Sodium, Iron), Humus (biological matter), Salinity,  Herbicide presence, Soil Texture, and Total Mycorrhizae testing/reportingh (Mycorrhizae Colonization Percentage Reporting, Mycorrhizae Spore Count Reporting, Mycorrhizae Inoculum Potential, and Rhizobium Nodule Count).

Includes season long consulting, reporting provided in 2 separate reports (initial findings, and send-out lab reporting)

Note 2) This service is NOT fast...Testing and reporting on this many factors takes more time than usual (usually a couple weeks). The initial report will arrive in a few days, but the rest will take a while.
